Corporate Commercial Lender/Middle Market

An International bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Lender who can help expand and develop the Bank's Domestic loan portfolio by identifying and soliciting prospective loan customers in conjunction with the established call program. The individual will obtain necessary financial and loan information for underwriting loans in accordance with the Bank’s policies and will service existing customer accounts by attending to their future borrowing needs, offering financial advice and counsel, and cross-selling other bank services.

A key responsibility of the position will be to maintain a high quality loan portfolio by periodicly reviewing current financial statements, monitoring compliance with loan covenants, and closely supervising credits.

• Five to seven years of progressively increasing responsible commercial lending experience
  
• Formal commercial credit training with a proven understanding of market trends, economic conditions, and financial and structural issues
  
• Strong credit, loan documentation and analytical skills
  
• Must be familiar with and able to calculate various risk ratio calculations, including debt coverage ratio, leverage ratio, liquidity ratio, among others
  
• Demonstrated ability to manage a large portfolio of commercial loans
  
• Must have a in depth ability to cultivate business opportunities and maintain long term relationships with commercial customers
  
• Must possess in depth verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers, prospects, regulators, internal auditors, referral sources, and third party vendors
  
• Spanish a plus
  
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance or accounting
